HER STORY
Have you ever met someone who seemed to have a supernatural ability to be unaffected when life threw them curveballs? They received no warning and yet they never lost their peace or gave up hope. In fact, this wasn't Theresa Thompson at all, she was the total opposite. She was affected and received no warnings of the curveballs!
After her retirement of 30+ years in the United States Army, she transitioned to a new city and new pace of life. She immediately stepped into demanding volunteer roles to fill her plate. Ultimately, her goal was to occupy her time.
What she didn’t realize is that the series of traumatic life experiences she had to walk through would change the game for her forever. They have been crucial in the trajectory of her life; from surviving a stroke, to losing the love of her life. Isn't it crazy how a moment in time can change the way life turns out? Her triumph story is a powerful example of a personal comeback from depression, grief, and loneliness.
Theresa holds a Bachelors' degree in Business Administration and is an Independent Contractor-Licensed Insurance Agent. She's a mother of two adult sons and a grandmother.
